American showgirl Suzy (Jean Harlow) is in London in 1914. She loves Irish inventor Terry Moore (Franchot Tone) who works for an engineering firm owned by a German woman. After their marriage, Terry is murdered and Suzy flees to Paris where she meets flyer Andre Charville (Cary Grant) as war is breaking out. (IMDb)
Songs include "When You Wore a Tulip...", "Under the Bamboo Tree" and the Oscar®-nominated "Did I Remember". Virginia Verrill dubbed all of Harlow's singing for the film, but that is Cary Grant singing "La père, la victoire" in the Cafe Anges.
