Every Day's a Holiday

US (1937): Comedy

Mae West plays Peaches O'Day, a Gay '90s con artist who can sell anything, including the Brooklyn Bridge. She returns to New York from banishment in disguise to exact her revenge on the police commissioner. As usual, West's script slides a few past the censor's snips. Her last picture for Paramount. With Edmund Lowe, Lloyd Nolan and Chester Conklin. Louis Armstrong appears as a musical street cleaner. (amctv.com)
