"Little Miss Sunshine" directed by John Ford! Shirley Temple and her widowed mother (June Lang) travel to India to visit her grandfather (C. Aubrey Smith), an officer in the British Army, and she becomes their little mascot. She soon befriends an Indian prisoner (Cesar Romero) who was the leader of the rebelling natives and eventually negotiates for peace between the warring factions. Based on an 1889 story by Rudyard Kipling. Cast also includes Victor McLaglen and Constance Collier. (amctv.com)
