Wings Over Honolulu

US (1937): Romance

Adapted by Isabel Dawn and Boyce de Gaw from a Redbook Magazine story by Mildred Cram with, apparently, none of the three understanding much about military trials -- otherwise, the Ray Milland character would have ended up with a dishonorable discharge and twenty years in the slammer. Anyway, in this H.C. Potter-directed yawner for Universal, a Navy pilot (Milland) gets involved in a romantic triangle (Wendy Barrie and William Gargan supply the other two sides) while stationed in Hawaii. (IMDb)
