Good cast in a not-so-good story. Robert Taylor tries to make the grade in a US Navy flight squadron. Frank Borzage directs this MGM release, with a cast that also includes Ruth Hussey, Walter Pidgeon, Paul Kelly, Nat Pendleton and Red Skelton (in one of his earliest screen roles). Excellent aerial photography (by Frank Clarke and Paul Mantz) and special effects. (Flight Command cinematographer Harold Rosson's brother, Richard Rosson, was an uncredited second unit director.)
