A thoroughly entertaining drama with Mary Astor and Bette Davis battling it out as catty rivals for the love of a pilot (George Brent). When he's presumed dead in a crash, the pregnant ex-wife and the new widow must come to terms with their unconventional triangle. Astor's short haircut started a fashion craze.
