This well-timed and successful war romance stars the dashing Tyrone Power and screen legend Betty Grable as Americans who meet again while in London during the war. Power playing pilot Tim Baker is cocksure and impulsive, and Grable's medical volunteer Carol Brown (transplanted from Texas) is golden-hearted and determined. Henry King directs a 20th Century-Fox cast that also includes John Sutton, Reginald Gardiner and Donald Stuart. (amctv.com)
