Charles Winninger and Charles Ruggles have field days playing Americanized German millionaires, the one still blindly loyal to the Fatherland, the other loyal to the U.S. The German sympathizer is duped into investing in the war on Germany's side. When the results of his blindness cause the sinking of a ship containing his best friend's son, his eyes are opened. Splendid acting from all concerned with a sober and thoughtful script.
