Bertolt Brecht wrote the story and Fritz Lang directs this grim WW II noir thriller, which makes a vehement wartime commentary on Nazi terror and betrayal. Brian Donlevy plays a gunman hiding out with the Resistance in Prague after the 1942 assassination of Hitler henchman Reinhard Heydrich.
