Gangway for Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly as song and dance lead the list of activities when sailors on shore leave in Los Angeles fall in with a fatherless boy (Dean Stockwell) and his beautiful aunt (Kathryn Grayson). Includes the irresistible dance sequence with Kelly and Jerry, the cartoon mouse. Conductor-pianist José Iturbi is also featured.
