Musical Moments from Chopin
(a.k.a. "Chopin's Musical Moments", "Musical Moments")

US (1946): Animated/Short/Family/Comedy

Andy Panda is playing a rendition of Chopin's "Polanaise" for a farmyard audience. Eventually, Woody Woodpecker walks in and decides to join him, accompanying him on an adjacent piano. While the duo play, there are various blackout gags such as a man trying to hold in a sneeze during the performance and an audience that doesn't appreciate a man's attempts to open a candy bar wrapper. The concert is threatened when a drunken horse sets the stage on fire but they manage to finish the piece with Woody dousing the flames with a fire hose. Directed by Dick Lundy. (IMDb)
