Tom Cannon (Pat Phelan), a tap-dancing senior at State University sets out to find a College Queen for the upcoming competition. He selects Cindy Harris (Noel Neill), a girl who is working her way through college as a waitress and can sing and dance. They win and are named College King & Queen.
