Rosalind Russell gives a moving performance as Elizabeth Kenny, the dedicated nurse who pioneered her own method of treatment for infantile paralysis. Alexander Knox (who also collaborated on the screenplay) plays the doctor who gives her encouragement and champions her rehabilitation method to the medical community. Kenny came to the U.S. in 1940 and set up a facility in Minnesota. Dudley Nichols directs for RKO. Supporting cast includes Dean Jagger and Beulah Bondi.
