(In) Beaver Valley

US (1950): Short/Family

Far up in the remote regions of the Rocky Mountains, in Beaver Valley, we examine the marvelous creations of Nature's Engineer, the beaver. We see how these animals transform the landscape, providing habitats for many other creatures. The dramatic story of the salmon is also shown, as are the antics of the irrepressible otters and the wily coyote. Highlight: The Soulful Serenade of the Lovelorn Frog. This is one of a series of True-Life Adventures presenting strange facts about the world we live in. These films are photographed in their natural settings and are completely authentic, unstaged and unrehearsed. Winston Hibler is the narrator. (Ron Oliver, IMDb)
