Germany (1992): Comedy

Fritz is a falsifier drawing a picture of Eva Braun, the girlfriend of Adolf Hitler. He meets Hermann and tells him about some Nazi material he knows about. Hermann, working for a great German magazine, pays for everything he can get, and so Fritz starts to write "Hitler's Private Diary". The story is based on a real event that happened in Germany in the mid-1980s. Co-written, produced and directed by Helmut Dietl. (Amazon.com)
