US (2002): Drama
This chronicle of the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (Salma Hayek) begins on the day of the devastating traffic accident she suffered as a teenager. Her leftist politics, many love affairs, long and stormy relationship with fellow artist Diego Rivera (Alfred Molina), and passionate dedication to her work form the fabric of the film's depiction of Kahlo's remarkable story.
