US (2002): Action/Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Thriller
When Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), a socially awkward high school student, is bitten by a strange spider, he finds he has developed spider-like super powers. Soon he is using his wall-climbing, web-shooting abilities to fight the evil Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) while he competes for the affections of a beautiful classmate (Kirsten Dunst) with the Goblin's son (James Franco). Based on the Marvel comic book characters and written for the screen by David Koepp. Sam Raimi directs this picture that also features Cliff Robertson and Rosemary Harris.
