US (2003): Drama
Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise), a disillusioned American Civil War veteran, is hired by the emperor of Japan to train his soldiers in western fighting techniques. When he is captured by the samurai warriors he has been hired to defeat, Algren finds himself drawn to the code of honor and the samurai philosophy that govern his captors' lives.
