US (2003): Drama

Based on the life of serial killer Aileen Wuornos (Charlize Theron), the film explores Wuornos' life on the desperate edges of society as she works as a prostitute in Florida. Although her first murder is committed in self defense, she is soon mired in an escalating series of crimes that will earn her a death sentence and nationwide notoriety.
