Lou Brock
(1892 - 1971)

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Although Lou Brock was at one time a highly paid executive at RKO Pictures (he was the producer who brought Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers together, and was later in charge of RKO's short-subjects department) and worked as a producer for many other Hollywood studios, at the time of his death in 1971 his job was a night clerk in a Hollywood hotel.
