Sound recordist and chief recording engineer who entered American film with Paramount's first talkie, INTERFERENCE (1928). Other notable non-nominated recording credits include THE DOCTOR'S SECRET, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, CLOSE HARMONY and INNOCENTS OF PARIS (all 1929). After WW II he worked (mainly at Monogram) on BLONDE FOR A DAY, TRIGGER FINGERS, LITTLE IODINE, BEAUTY AND THE BANDIT and THE DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND (all 1946), UNEXPECTED GUEST, SIX-GUN SERENADE, DANGEROUS VENTURE, CODE OF THE SADDLE and HOPPY'S HOLIDAY (all 1947), ANGELS' ALLEY, THE GOLDEN EYE and MAN-EATER OF KUMAON (all 1948), TARZAN'S MAGIC FOUNTAIN (1949), PAL JOEY (1959), and BY LOVE POSSESSED (1961).
