Edward Killy
(also billed as Edward Killey, Eddie Killy)

Entered American film as an assistant director at RKO on George Cukor's WHAT PRICE HOLLYWOOD? (1932). Some of Killy's other notable a.d. credits include CHRISTOPHER STRONG and LITTLE WOMEN (both 1933), THE AGE OF INNOCENCE (1934), ROBERTA and ALICE ADAMS (both 1935), GUNGA DIN and THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (both 1939), THE PRIMROSE PATH (1940), BOMBARDIER (1943), SUSAN SLEPT HERE (1954), THE CONQUEROR (1956) and GUNSIGHT RIDGE (1957). Killy directed a number of features (mostly Westerns) for RKO from the mid-30s through the mid-40s, including SEVEN KEYS TO BALDPATE (1935), CHINA PASSAGE (1937), WAGON TRAIN and THE FARGO KID (both 1940), RIDING THE WIND (1942), NEVADA (1944) and WEST OF THE PECOS (1945).
