Film editor who worked in feature film editing at Columbia Pictures from the 1930s through the 1940s, then moved into television. Some of his notable editing credits in almost 80 films include BRANDED (1931), END OF THE TRAIL (1932), HOLD THE PRESS (1933), BEYOND THE LAW (1934), ESCAPE FROM DEVIL'S ISLAND (1935), THEODORA GOES WILD and MEET NERO WOLFE (both 1936), IT HAPPENED IN HOLLYWOOD (1937), HOLIDAY (1938), GOLDEN BOY (1939), MUSIC IN MY HEART, TOO MANY HUSTANDS and ARIZONA (all 1940), PENNY SERENADE and YOU'LL NEVER GET RICH (both 1941), Geroge Stevens' THE TALK OF THE TOWN (1942), SOMETHING TO SHOUT ABOUT and THE MORE THE MERRIER (both 1943), LOUISIANA HAYRIDE (1944) and SONG OF THE PRAIRIE (1945). Television credits include "The Halls of Ivy," "Gunsmoke," "My Friend Flicka," "Broken Arrow," "Perry Mason" and "The Third Man."
