Born in Springfield, Massachusetts. Hollywood sound man at Hal Roach from 1929 until 1941 with over 50 shorts and features to his credit, including four Laurel & Hardy features (BABES IN TOYLAND, 1934; BONNIE SCOTLAND, 1935; THE BOHEMIAN GIRL, 1936; and WAY OUT WEST, 1937) and 25 of their short films. Raguse's Post-Roach credits include INNER SANCTUM (1948), "U.S. Marshal" (1958, TV series), MOVE OVER, DARLING (1963), WHAT A WAY TO GO!, SHOCK TREATMENT, FATE IS THE HUNTER, GOODBYE CHARLIE and RIO CONCHOS (all 1964), DEAR BRIGITTE, JOHN GOLDFARB, PLEASE COME HOME, VON RYAN'S EXPRESS and THE REWARD (all 1965) and his last film, OUR MAN FLINT (1966).
