Bob Wright

(1914 - 2005)

Working with sometime co-composer Edward Ward and lyricist Chet Forrest, he composed songs for several films from the mid-1930s through the mid-1940s. Some of his memorable songs are "Always and Always," "And This Is My Beloved," "Baubles, Bangles and Beads," "The Donkey Serenade," "It's a Blue World," "Magdalena" and "Stranger in Paradise," many of them coming from Forrest & Wright's Kismet and Song of Norway.
