Jennifer Fox
theOscarSite Bio: Fox served as President of Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney's production company Section Eight from 2001 to 2007. She ran the day-to-day operations of Section Eight and produced such acclaimed films as Stephen Gaghan's SYRIANA (2005), for which Clooney won the Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actor, and executive produced the Clooney-directed political drama GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK (also 2005), which received six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. Fox's other executive producing credits include Richard Linklater's A SCANNER DARKLY (2006); PU-239; Rob Reiner's RUMOR HAS IT... (2005); THE JACKET (2005) directed by John Maybury; and CRIMINAL (2004), directed by Gregory Jacobs. During Fox's tenure, Section Eight also produced OCEAN'S ELEVEN (2001), WELCOME TO COLLINWOOD, FULL FRONTAL, FAR FROM HEAVEN, INSOMNIA and CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND (all 2002), OCEAN'S TWELVE (2004), THE GOOD GERMAN (2006), OCEAN'S THIRTEEN and, most recently, MICHAEL CLAYTON (both 2007). Her next scheduled film as producer is DUPLICITY (2009). Prior to Section Eight, Fox was Vice President of Production at Universal Pictures, where she worked on several films, including Steven Sodergergh's ERIN BROCKOVICH.
