Biography and photo (2007) from MySpace.com Place of Birth: New York City theOscarSite Bio: Charles Mack is a New York City native, who has a true passion for the Arts. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mack began his love for music at the age of 7. Weekly piano lessons, and singing in church choirs, led to a more in-depth study as a voice at La Guardia High School for Music Art and the Performing Arts. There he was introduced to Bach, Mozart, and Brahms. During that time he also toured with the CityKids Repertory Company, which traveled around the States, and abroad to countries such as Denmark and Puerto Rico. Mack then went on to study at Five Towns College, where he sang with The Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Opera workshop and The Gospel Choir. He was a part of a barbershop quartet "Draw Four", which ranked top 12 in the world in 2003. He has made several appearances on television: "Power of One" (ABC), "Good Day New York" (Fox), and Ed McMahon's "Next Big Star" (PAX). He also toured Germany, and Switzerland. Mack was the composer for Jamal Joseph's DRIVE BY: A LOVE STORY (1997), and he appeared in AUGUST RUSH (2007). He is currently working on his solo album for release in 2008.
