Sound recordist and department head who entered American film with WOMAN IN THE DARK (1934) at RKO, later moving to Republic. Other notable (non-nominated) credits include GIGOLETTE (1935), the DICK TRACY series (1937-41), THE LONE RANGER (1938), DRUMS OF FU MANCHU (1940), JUNGLE GIRL (1941), KING OF THE MOUNTIES (1942), THE MASKED MARVEL (1943), CAPTAIN AMERICA (1944), ALONG THE NAVAJO TRAIL (1945), and THE PHANTOM RIDER and KING OF THE FOREST RANGERS (both 1946).
