William Cagney

A former actor (1933-35) and the brother of James Cagney. They formed Cagney Productions in 1942, and he produced a number of James Cagney's films. Cagney's producing credits include TORRID ZONE and CITY FOR CONQUEST (both 1940), THE STRAWBERRY BLONDE and THE BRIDE CAME C.O.D. (both 1941), CAPTAINS OF THE CLOUDS and YANKEE DOODLE DANDY (both 1942), JOHNNY COME LATELY (1943), BLOOD ON THE SUN (1945), THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE (1948), KISS TOMORROW GOODBYE (1950), ONLY THE VALIANT (1951), BUGLES IN THE AFTERNOON (1952), and A LION IS IN THE STREETS (1953).
