La Cage aux rossignols (1945)

Screenwriter and scenarist who entered French film in 1936 with MOUTONNET. Other writing credits, alone or in collaboration, include L'INNOCENT (1937), VACANCES PAYÉES (1938), LA CAGE AUX ROSSIGNOLS (1945), and LE MANNEQUIN ASSASSINÉ (1949). His story for LA CAGE AUX ROSSIGNOLS was used as the basis for the French nominee for Best Foreign Language Film of 2004, LES CHORISTES (The Chorus).  Nominated for Writing (Original Story) 1947: A CAGE OF NIGHTINGALES (w.
