Gervaise (1956)

Born in Varenne-Saint-Hilaire, France. The widow of producer Robert Dorfmann, she worked as a producer with and without him. She stopped acting early in her screen career because she didn't like her performance in TROIS FEMMES (1952). Producing credits include the French films GERVAISE (1956) and UNE VIE / ONE LIFE (1958, exec. prod.), PICKPOCKET (1959) and Robert Bresson's PROCÈS DE JEANNE D'ARC (1962).  Nominated for Foreign Language Film 1956: GERVAISE - Producer at Agnes Delahaie Production/C.I.C.C.
