Philip G. Epstein

Born in New York City. Under contract with Warner Bros., where, often in collaboration with twin brother Julius J. Epstein, he wrote several outstanding films including the much-lauded CASABLANCA (1942). They contributed to the success of Warners and other studios. They also collaborated on a number of stage plays. He and his brother are the first of only three sets of twins to win Oscars®.
