Harry Grey
(1905 - 1963)

Born in Brooklyn, NY. Producer, composer and music supervisor who entered American film supervising the music for Republic's THE OREGON TRAIL in 1936. In 1936 and 1937, he worked in that capacity on over 40 pictures. He began working as an associate producer at Republic on TENTH AVENUE KID in 1937, and was an associate until 1945 for 47 other Republic films. In 1947, Grey moved to Paramount to produce their "Musical Parade" series of shorts. He produced 12 of them in 1947 and 1948, two of which were nominated for Academy Awards.
