Sound effects editor who worked uncredited at Universal during most of the 1940s. His first screen credit was for ARCTIC FURY (1949) at RKO. Other sound effects or sound editing credits include TWO LOST WORLDS and LOST CONTINENT (both 1951), SEA TIGER (1952), TWO GUN MARSHAL and SECRET OF OUTLAW FLATS (both 1953), PHANTOM TRAILS, TIMBER COUNTRY TROUBLE and THE TILTED TINDERFOOT (all 1955), and JESSE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER (1966). Hall began working in television in 1964; his credits in that medium include the series "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.", "I Spy" and "The Mod Squad".
