Anthony Havelock-Allan

Born at Darlington, Durham, England. A British peer, he entered British films in 1933 and after working in the industry in various capacities produced his first picture in 1938. The many films he produced or co-produced in the following three decades included a number of distinguished British motion pictures, notably several directed by David Lean. Formerly married to actresses Valerie Hobson and Marguerite Chapman.
