Michael Kanin

Born in Rochester, NY. Brother of Garson Kanin. A former commercial artist and musician, he began writing screenplays in the late 1930s. He often collaborated with his wife, Fay Kanin, and directed one rather good film, WHEN I GROW UP (1951). He also produced A DOUBLE LIFE (1948).
