Glen MacWilliams
(1898 - 1984)

Born in Saratoga, CA. Cinematographer who entered American film with HEADIN' SOUTH at Douglas Fairbanks Pictures in 1918. Other silent credits include ARIZONA (also 1918), HIS MAJESTY, THE AMERICAN (1919), KISMET (1920), EVER SINCE EVE (1921), OLIVER TWIST (1922), QUICKSANDS (1923), CAPTAIN JANUARY (1924), THE WHEEL (1925), SIBERIA (1926), and HEART OF SALOME (1927). After the advent of sound, MacWilliams' credits include THE VALIANT (1929), THE SEA WOLF (1930), THE FRONT PAGE (1931), REBECCA OF SUNNYBROOK FARM (1932), A CUCKOO IN THE NEST (1933), WALTZES FROM VIENNA (1934), HEAT WAVE (1935), IT'S LOVE AGAIN (1936), KING SOLOMON'S MINES (1937), SAILING ALONG (1938), THE PROUD VALLEY (1940), DRESSED TO KILL (1941), THE MAN IN THE TRUNK (1942), WINTERTIME (1943), LIFEBOAT, WING AND A PRAYER and WINGED VICTORY (all 1944), THE SPIDER (1945), SHOCK, IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN TO A DOG and IF I'M LUCKY (all 1946). There is a break in his creditis until the late 1950s, when he is credited for GIRL WITH AN ITCH (1958), and A LUST TO KILL (1959).

In television, MacWilliams worked on episodes for the "Bat Masterson", "Johnny Ringo", "Law of the Plainsman", "The Untouchables", "My Favorite Martian", "Vacation Playhouse" and "My Living Doll" series.
