Russell Malmgren
(1905 - 1982)

Sound recording and re-recording/effect engineer whose first credited film is SISTER (1930) at Columbia. Subsequent credits include BROTHERS (also 1930), MEN IN HER LIFE (1931), and THREE WISE GIRLS and ONE MAN LAW (both 1932). There is a break in his credits until 1944's SECRET COMMAND. After that, he's credited for, among other films, GILDA (1946), WHEN A GIRL'S BEAUTIFUL (1947), BLONDIE'S SECRET (1948) and several other films in the "Blondie" series, AND BABY MAKES THREE (1949), NO SAD SONGS FOR ME (1950), NEVER TRUST A GAMBLER (1951), THE HAPPY TIME (1952), and his last film, THE 5,000 FINGERS OF DR. T (1953).
