Set decorator who was nominated for his first picture at Warner Bros., DESERT SONG (1943). Other notable credits include SHINE ON HARVEST MOON (1944), OBJECTIVE, BURMA!, GOD IS MY CO-PILOT and SAN ANTONIO (all 1945), THE VERDICT (1946), CHEYENNE and CRY WOLF (both 1947), WHIPLASH (1948), THE BIG COMBO (1955), and NIKKI, WILD DOG OF THE NORTH (1961).
