Born in Santa Barbara, CA. Set decorator in Hollywood from 1927 to 1973 who worked for many years at Paramount Studios, but in his later years worked with John Wayne at Batjac Productions. He wrote a manuscript about working in show business which was recently donated to the Margaret Herrick Library at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Moyer lived a most colorful life, and died peacefully at the Motion Picture Home in 1986.
