Sound effects engineer who was nominated for his first credited film, WOMEN IN WAR (1940). He spent most of his career at Republic Pictures, usually working uncredited. Some of the films he was associated with include KING OF THE MOUNTIES (1942), G-MEN VS. THE BLACK DRAGON (1943), CAPTAIN AMERICA (1944), THE PHANTOM RIDER (1946), BLACKMAIL (1947), THE GAY RANCHERO, UNDER CALIFORNIA STARS and EYES OF TEXAS (all 1948). He began working in television in 1953 and supervised sound for episodes of "Boston Blackie", "Mr. District Attorney" and "Meet Corliss Archer".
