Musical director for over 125 films at Republic Pictures from 1940 to 1950, including FLAME OF BARBARY COAST and HITCHHIKE TO HAPPINESS (both 1945), SIOUX CITY SUE (1946), and ON THE OLD SPANISH TRAIL (1947). He composed the scores for SWING YOUR PARTNER (1943), MY BEST GAL (1944), MAN FROM OKLAHOMA (1945, uncredited), ONE EXCITING WEEK (1946) and KING OF THE GAMBLERS (1948).
