Born in Buffalo, NY. Documentary producer who entered American film in 1933 with THIS IS AMERICA at Beekman Film Corp. Other credits include AIRWAVES and TELEVISION (both 1939, both also director), I'M STILL ALIVE (1940), LETTER TO A HERO (1943), THIS IS AMERICA: STREET OF SHADOWS (1946), PASSPORT TO NOWHERE and THIS IS AMERICA: WHISTLE IN THE NIGHT (both 1947), and THE WINDOW (1949). Ullman directed the 1942 documentary RKO VICTORY SPECIAL NO. 34-201: CONQUER BY THE CLOCK.
