Other notable credits, alone or in collaboration, include NOW AND FOREVER (1934), PETER IBBETSON (1935), RHYTHM ON THE RANGE and THE BIG BROADCAST OF 1937 (both 1936), TRUE CONFESSION (1937), BLUEBEARD'S EIGHTH WIFE (1938), THE CAT AND THE CANARY (1939), ARISE, MY LOVE (1940), I WANTED WINGS, ROAD TO ZANZIBAR and HOLD BACK THE DAWN (all 1941), THIS GUN FOR HIRE and ROAD TO MOROCCO (both 1942), NO TIME FOR LOVE (1943), TIL WE MEET AGAIN (1944), THE CHASE (1946), THE SIN OF HAROLD DIDDLEBOCK (1947), and his last film, VENDETTA (1950).
