The Great Caruso (1951)

Born in Gablonz an der Neisse, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic]. American conductor of Czech birth; music and artistic director of the NBC-TV Opera Company (1949-1959). He conducted and staged the operatic numbers for 1951's THE GREAT CARUSO.    Nominated for Music Scoring Awards (Scoring of a Musical Picture) 1951: THE GREAT CARUSO (w. Johnny Green) 1 nomination
