Editor of 135 features and shorts, starting with the silent FANGS OF FATE in 1928. He cut many "B" westerns at studios such as Robert Horner and Reliable Pictures during the 1920s and 30s, and, after a brief stint at Central Pictures in the mid-30s where he edited some Columbia releases, he edited two Universal pictures HI'YA, SAILOR (1943) and SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE SPIDER WOMAN (1944). In 1944, he moved to Monogram and edited over 30 pictures, including some of the Bowery Boys releases. When the Bowery Boys moved to Allied Artists, he went along with them and stayed there for several years, sometimes returning to Monogram. He was associated with the pictures of director William Beaudine, cutting 30 of Beaudine's movies -- from SHADOW OF SUSPICION (1944, Monogram) to JESSE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER (1966, Circle). His last film was LEGEND OF THE NORTHWEST (1978)
