Hall Bartlett

Born in Kansas City, MO. After WW II service with the Navy, he became involved in film production and formed his own company in 1952. His first project, a feature-length documentary, NAVAJO (1952), won a number of awards. His later fiction films were of varying quality. As writer-producer-director, some of his credits include UNCHAINED (1955), DRANGO and ZERO HOUR! (both 1957), ALL THE YOUNG MEN (1960), THE CARETAKERS (1963), CHANGES (1969), THE SANDPIT GENERALS (1971), JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL (1973), THE CHILDREN OF SANCHEZ (1978) and "Love Is Forever" (TV, 1983).

At one time (1966-71) married to Rhonda Fleming. Author: The Rest of Our Lives.
