Born in Boston, MA. Writer who entered American film with BABY FACE MORGAN (1942) at Producers Releasing Corp. He wrote several light comedies during the WW II years, and after the war his credits include HARVEY (1950, screenplay), some of the "Francis the Talking Mule" series, THE SPOILERS (1955), TAMMY AND THE BACHELOR (1957) and two more "Tammy" films, I'D RATHER BE RICH (1964), and scripts for the TV series "It Takes a Thief." His last listed credit is the script for GHOST FEVER (1987), an Alan Smithee project.
