Love Me Or Leave Me (1955)
Born in Odessa, Russia. Songwriter who entered German film in 1931 with Max Reichmann's DIE GROßE ATTRAKTION. He stayed in Europe until 1937 and wrote songs for several more German and Austrian productions. His first film in the US was Anthony Asquith's FRENCH WITHOUT TEARS (1940). Other than his nominated songs, some of his notable credits include THE FLAME AND THE FLESH and additional music for THE STUDENT PRINCE (both 1954), MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS, THE OPPOSITE SEX and SERENADE (all 1956), TEN THOUSAND BEDROOMS, THIS COULD BE THE NIGHT and LET'S BE HAPPY (all 1957) and PARTY GIRL (1958).
