Eliot Daniel
(1908 - 1997)

Born in Massachusetts, USA. Songwriter and musical and vocal director who entered American film with Disney's MAKE MINE MUSIC (1946). His songs were used in other notable films such as SONG OF THE SOUTH (also 1946), FUN AND FANCY FREE (1947) and GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES (1953). For television, he composed scores, songs or themes for "Willy," "December Bride," "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" and "Angel." Perhaps his best known work is the theme for "I Love Lucy" (1951).
